To celebrate National Down Syndrome Awareness Month and promote understanding and acceptance of individuals with Down syndrome, the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) in New York introduced the Buddy Walk in 1995. The Buddy Walk celebrates October, National Down Syndrome Awareness Month, and is sponsored by the NDSS, parent support groups, schools, businesses, and other organizations.

2002, 2003, 2004 An historic walk through downtown Concord beginning and ending on the State House Plaza.

Crotched Mountain, Greenfield--a scenic stroll on top of a mountain.
